PSN Tips - PlayStation Store Tips Secret and Guide For New Players
If you're a PlayStation gamer, then you'll know just how
amazing the PS store is. Sony has gotten more people into games they, otherwise
wouldn't have bothered with through the store than any other way. However,
there are some things you may not know about the PlayStation Store things Sony
definitely won't tell you, luckily we at the gamer are going to tell you about
some of them stay tuned to the end.
Here are 10 PlayStation Store secrets Sony doesn't want you
to know:
1. Plus You're Gaming
We all know how good the PlayStation
Store is when it comes to acting as a shop for the latest and greatest games
for the ps4. However it can also serve as a library - well sort of you may not
have realized this, but there's an extra feature available to gamers who are
willing to shell out a little bit more. If you spend the 50 bucks necessary to
get a PS Plus Subscription, then you'll be able to have loads of awesome extra
things you can do.
For starters it's pretty much essential if you want to take
part in online gaming, however one of the things we love the most about PS Plus
is the cool new games you get by signing up for not just new games, but also
the chance to take part in beta testing, having early access to games, and some
sweet discounts.
If you want to get a hold of all this, then you'll need to
make sure your PlayStation Store is set up for it. If you're subscribed to PS
Plus, you'll have to make sure you take the add to library option. This means
you won't eat your system's disk drive up with all the new games coming your
way; you can use the ridiculously massive ten gigs worth of cloud storage
instead.
Two download remotely As its name suggests, the PlayStation
Store is the go-to place to buy PS games. It has one of the best and most
wide-ranging libraries of games out there. However, because you have to
download games, you can be at the mercy of slow internet speeds when it comes
to waiting for a game to get on your system. We know it's a nuisance so we're
here to tell you how you can get around it.
Chances are you've got the PS App on your phone if you
haven't you'll need access to an online computer, if you have one of those
things then you can download a game remotely without having to get on your ps3
or ps4 and navigate through all the menus. You also won't have to worry about
the slow and annoying process of having to enter the name of the game on your
controller which is a bonus.
What you have to do is simple, you log into the store
whether it's through the web page or on the app then you search for the game
you want to play by it and make sure it's set to download to your system. When
you're ready the game will be available, of course, you need to make sure that your
PlayStation 4 is in rest mode, so you can download while you're awake.
2. Show Off Your Trophies
Although we all like to play our
games in our own time, there's something beautiful about being part of the
gaming community. in all its glory heck we at the gamer probably wouldn't exist
if it weren't for the community is a thing.
Now you know you can play cooperatively or competitively,
you also know just how much fun it is to beat your friends at a game. Now you
might think dominating your friends is all well and good, but there are some
games you can't deny elate them on like there are a lot of games without a
multiplayer option. If you're playing one of those games, then you've got a
choice you can either play the games yourself which is how they were meant to
be played.
Here video I found on youtube:
You knew what you were getting into when you got the game so
you can't complain, however, if you're an ultra-competitive person you can use
the PS Store to show your buddies who're boss.
All you need to do is go to the apps section of the store
and get the trophy's app. with this installed and updated you'll automatically
be able to show off all the trophies you collect while gaming, now if you want
to show your friends just how good you are at any game you can folklore
features.
The PlayStation Store has been around since 2006 and because
it's been around for such a long time there's been a lot of time for Secrets
tricks and easter eggs to come into play. One of the best examples from the
earlier years of the store was an Easter Egg for a game called folklore. If you
have neither heard of or played folklore, I will tell you a bit about it.
3. Extra Ability
You had a choice of characters to control in both the
village of Doolin and the mysterious netherworld; it was one of those games
that were reasonably popular at the time.
But ended up fading into obscurity it's a shame because it
had a great story an unusual setting is we can't think of any games set in
Ireland and some cool art anyway back in 2007.
Gamers who went on Free PSN Codes website
were told about a secret feature hidden on the PlayStation Store,
understandably people who were in on the game got rather excited what could it
be new characters extra abilities.
More levels it was none of these things it was a couple of Folklore wallpapers however although it may sound a little disappointing, it
does show something the PlayStation Store is a big place and a big deal! So
there's random treasure to be found.
